Just a reminder: the Lotto Magic training calls will be question and answer for the rest of the summer. New topics will resume after Labor Day.

BIG NEWS!
Hi all!
Big News! The website will be changing! I am revamping the website. I need your help...what do you want added to the site? Let me know what do you want to see. Also what are the questions you always receive, I'm going to expand the FAQ section.
Big Big News! I already made some changes to the rotator...we no longer will have the competition. Everyone will have equal chance of getting that signup! Just send 2,000 hits to your tracking URL and post 20 other ads to the www.TeamLottoMagic.com site. Do both of those and you'll stay on the rotator! And you know all those others hits you've been sending to the site....keep them for your own website! :) This is a trial, if it goes over well, I am going to open it up to all my downline again in about a month.

Good news - the video is done! I have added it to the team site under What is Lotto Magic? And it is in also on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsF12ZcgRT8. Check it out! Also please feel free to send prospects to it.

It's June already!
I can't believe it's June already. In the beginning of the year, I mentioned setting goals for 3 months, 6 months, the next year. That 6 months is coming up soon!
As I said last week, I was trying to add payment by PayPal to our site. Well that is a "no-go" for the time being. PayPal have frozen my account. Here's what happened: I designed invoices. I specifically wrote TLM instead of Team Lotto Magic as the company because I know PayPal is VERY strict about gambling. But I forgot about my email...rsmith@teamLOTTOmagic.com. And they caught me. I'm working on getting it restored. So far I'm on their review period. So sorry! Someone mentioned using AlertPay before. I am still researching them. I wanted PayPal because it was so well known.
Second, the video is almost finished!
Third, Lotto Magic has published June's newsletter. You should also see your May statement too!

Pirates 4 and the weekend! Happy Friday
Hi all!
It's Friday! Weekend is only a few short hours away....and for me Pirates 4 is only a few short hours away! :)
Please remember Mike is giving away FREE leads for listening to the conference call on Wed May 25th to make up for the technical difficulties on the 18th. I was one of the few who did get the free leads because I listen online. And I forced myself to make my 25 calls yesterday. Here's my results:
9 Voicemails- left message directing them to phone number or website
2 No answers
1 Person not there - left message but who knows!
13 Spoke with people
10 were directed to the lottopaysme website
3 were directed to the phone number
Schedule followup calls for Monday (because of the weekend) but did tell them to call or email me if they had questions.
1 signed up as Power Captain already after visiting site!
So it took me what an hr and I got 1 Power Captain! Not bad!!! And please remember, I hate the phone! I dreaded doing it, but I did. So you can too! It really is a cheap quick way to build a downline...especially with these free leads. I'll keep you posted!

Midweek - almost to that weekend!
Hi All!
I hope everyone is having a nice week. Getting closer and closer to that weekend! Some of you know, I've been looking forward to this weekend for months - it's Pirates 4! I got my tickets all set for Saturday! Dinner and a movie with the hubby!
Anyway...remember tonight is an important call. Many of you know I hate the phone...still after all this time dread it! But it is the cheapest and fastest way of building your business. So if I can do it...you can too! I'm going to transcribe the "script" if Mike gives it too!

Tomorrow night (Wed, May 17 9PM EST) we will be revisiting the discussion on telephone prospecting.
Through the past five decades, marketing opportunities have come and gone and changed drastically, but three fundamental prospecting techniques have changed little and withstood the test of time. They are:
1) Direct Mail
2) Face-to-Face or Opportunity Meetings
3) Telephone Prospecting
For us, #1 on the list has always been the most effective, but it is the slowest and most expensive.
While #2 on the list is the cheapest way to build your business, it also takes the most time and work. and also has the biggest drawback: You will be limited in the number of people you can contact.
Telephone prospecting is the quickest. You can pick up the phone, qualify a prospect, direct them to a presentation, and if they are hot, they can join 15 minutes later! Most likely, you will need to follow-up with them after they have watched the video online, but still, for the cost of leads and long distance (which by now most people have flat-rate, unlimited) you can put tons of prospects in your pipeline VERY QUICKLY!
We have visited this topic a few times over the last three years, but were missing one key ingredient: Effective Leads.
Just like it took awhile (and testing hundreds of sources) to tweak our direct mail co-ops to where they are now, we have done the same with finding and testing sources for telephone prospecting and have finally found a few that are worthy.
For the FINAL time, this week, we will be giving away leads to those of you interested in learning how to build your business with the telephone and want to get started immediately. After tonight, proven sources will be available to all members at various prices, depending on how fresh the leads are (for example, the leads we are giving away this week will sell for .75 each). Quantity given to each member will be determined by call volume.
To receive FREE LEADS and be in my core group of people who get to test leads for free in the future from new sources, you must meet the following requirements:
1) BE ON THE CALL THIS WEEK -- NO EXCEPTIONS!
2) Be willing to share your results, either privately with me or on a subsequent call.
3) Be willing to use the techniques you learn within 48 hours. Your leads will be placed in your back office, into a contact management system we have developed for this purpose. Hi all!
Ok, the URLs are working again. I have no clue what happened. After a call to godaddy.com they told me we weren't alone in our issues and they were working on it. But either way it is fixed! YAY. So start sending those hits again. Because we lost 2 days, I am going to include everyone who sent any hits (even if you do not send 2000 hits/this week) for the rotator for next week.

Reduce the Struggle and Help our Downline Win!
Hi all!

Here's something I found:
So to help reduce that amount of struggle and pain for new people in your downline I have the following steps:
1 - Take the time to welcome new people to your organization, its key because they need the personal touch especially at first
2 - Have a clearly defined, step-by-step process to get up and running (don't be tempted to vomit) this is also what happens right after someone joins. They aren't ready to have all the details.
3 - Hook them up with key leaders and training. A system is key here, even when you are not available they can get help
4 - Be available, at first they need a little help. Don't assume they will get it just because you did. They may not be at your level of expertise or belief yet.
5 - Have others on hand that they can go to if you are not there.
6 - Stay in good communication, via e-mail, make sure they know when things are, they are not used to being set up with a schedule.
7 - Be patient, remember at one time or another, you were a "newbie" too.
8 - Take action yourself, they will only be about 50% of what you are doing, if your action is low, then theirs is even lower.

Check those numbers carefully!
Good morning!
I hope all is well in your area! As always NJ gets a nice day today, but rain tomorrow :( Oh well more Lotto Magic time! :)
Piece of advice...check your lottery numbers carefully! Wednesday I thought we had won big! Not Jackpot - but still big! The winning Powerball numbers were 4-23-39-49-50 Powerball 39. Jimmy a Captain in the downline, has the numbers 4-23-39-49-55-38. As many of you know I keep an Excel spreadsheet of all the numbers and each drawing and perform conditional formatting to see the matching numbers. Apparently I had mistyped and entered Jimmy's Powerball as 39. So he "matched 4 numbers plus the Powerball for $10,000! I got excited and emailed Jimmy's Captain Jules who informed me of my mistake! Whoops!!! Hey we still matched 4 numbers for $100! Good for you Jimmy!

Snickers bar craving!
Who would have thought a Snickers bar could be worth so much? Did you read the article about the MegaMillions winners. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110331/ap_on_re_us/us_mega_millions_winner. This is why pooling works! I sent a broadcast to the prospects yesterday about this. Pooling works! We need more to realize that!
First of all, I'm not exactly sure if I broadcasted this out or not. Please remember to use the www in the www.lottomagiconline.com site. If not if a person goes to the Join button, they are brought to a site that does not include a sponsor, and they have to manually type the sponsor ID in which many won't do. I had a couple of complaints from people who are using the new Firefox.
I am going to be posting the buying US traffic sites on the team site. I had some of you tell me good and bad things about the ones listed, I'm only going to place the good ones online.

Team Lotto Magic's thoughts are with the victims today
TGIF!
First and foremost, my thoughts and prayers are with the people hit today by first the earthquake then later the tsunami waves. It is so sad to watch on TV. And yesterday NJ was worried about our small flooding...it doesn't even compare to that devastation. I know we do have a couple members from Hawaii reading this, I hope everything is well with you. And as I write this now, the west coast hasn't been hit yet...hopefully that remains.
I just read today: "Those who respond positively and take responsibility, rather than blame others or be indifferent, are the ones who grow as leaders. Consequently, they develop the foundation for great positive responses, great achievement, and great success in leadership."

Week of Knowledge for us at Team Lotto Magic
Hi all!
What a week? I feel like I'm back in college with all these classes of wonderful knowledge! I think I may have learned more this week about marketing than I have in months put together! I hope you got a chance to attend Tim Sales presentation on Wednesday. If not you can listen to it at http://responsivedata.com/view-media/speaker-series (the first one with Tim Sales, I haven't listened to the rest so I can't recommend them or not). I'm also working on an overview of it myself. There are some good "key phrases" to use when talking. I want to get them down!
As for the other Wednesday presentation, hot buttons! It sounds like emotions play a big key part in it. Both Mike and Tim talked about it. People don't just join a home based business to make money. They join it because they are in debt, they got laid off, or health issues. And they both stressed...being genuine about these emotions!In case you missed Mike's talk, it's in the team site.

Oh my! All of us in the east coast are having a beautiful day! We are supposed to hit 70! I'm actually going for a road trip to the beach for the afternoon right after I finish this email. So lets get it done...

Hot buttons to press for prospects
Hi all!
I hope everyone is excited for the weekend...it's Super Bowl Weekend! :) As someone who is a huge football fan...this weekend is very hard for me LOL! But at least spring training for baseball is right around the corner!
I found this info online and it really made sense to me:
#1 People are interested in themselves:
When you connect with your prospects, it's not about you but it's about them. Let them talk about themselves. You need to make them feel important and try to establish what makes them unhappy and dissatisfied.
A great rapport building approach that you can use is called F.O.R.M. (Family, Occupation, Recreation, Message). Ask them if they are married, have kids, what they do for a living and what they enjoy doing in their spare time. The next thing you would then do, is to tell them why you called them in the first place (deliver your message). You could say: "I note that you visited my website recently and you have shown that you're interested in starting your own home business..." or something along these lines.
#2 People have a craving to feel important:
Make them feel important. Be nice, compliment them, listen and acknowledge their responses. Smile - people can still detect and appreciate your smile even if you're miles away, on the other end of the line.
Use their first name frequently - people love it when you address them by their first names, I do! :)
It's important to use this trick in your follow-up messages as well, in moderation though. You can also use their first name when you give a call-to-action. It makes it personal and it's likely to get them to act.
For example: "This incredible offer is only good for the next 24 hours for fast action-takers. Don't miss out, {firstname}!"
#3 People are sceptical when you say something in your favor:
It's important to use testimonials - third party validation builds credibility, takes away scepticism and gets people to trust you more. People have been pitched at too many times and it does take time to develop trust these days.
You need to present the unquestionable proof from your existing customers and team members. Testimonials can be used to show people your leadership skills — how you have helped others to overcome their problems or to achieve their goals.
#4 People want easy life:
People want easy gain, something for nothing. People want things fast and free. You need to make people aware that the value is far greater than the cost. Here are the two most powerful words that you can use with success in your business: FREE and YOU.
People do take action when you offer something for free and when it's benefit-driven. What's in it for them? Make sure your free product (ebook, video series, report etc.) overdelivers so that your prospects can buy from you in the future.
#5 People want to feel like they have a sense of belonging:
People want to be associated with others as social beings. That is why it's important to have teams, team meetings, live marketing events and workshops so that people can feel connected.
As a leader you have to go an extra mile and do things like weekly private team training. This will create a sense of community and great team environment, strengthen your relationship with your team and you will start feeling like you have known each other for a long time.
You also need to hold regular webinars to connect with your leads to show them how you can help them achieve their goals - show them the kind of support you give to your team and make it clear that they will not be on their own should they decide to join you.
#6 People are emotional creatures:
People are more emotional than logical, they buy on emotions. They make decisions on emotions and justify with logic. So, take advantage of that and hit people with emotions. Try to paint a picture of what their life would be like if they build a successful business with your help.
Show them what your product would do to their bottom line and growth of their organisation. This ties into the next point:
#7 People seek to gain pleasure and avoid pain:
No one wants pain, people would do anything to avoid it and gain pleasure. So, make people feel it, taste it and fear it. If you make them feel the pain with your content or ad copy and then offer to help them heal it and feel good about themselves, then you’ll get crazy clicks, endless leads and unbelievable conversions.
No one wants pain, remember? It’s very important to learn and master copywriting if you want people to do exactly what you want them to do. You need to turn your visitors and prospects into desperate buyers!

Team Lotto Magic and the 4 SWs
Hi all,
It's Friday! Welcome to the weekend! And since I'm writing you again...it's started snowing again in NJ! :) I'm really starting to see a pattern! Hopefully, it's nicer where you are!
I posted the recording of Wednesday's training call on the team site conference call page. Since Mike said only 8 people were on the call, I know some of you will be checking it out. He talked about the Accountability Club and the success you'll have from it. He said we should start it informally. And he'd wait until more people are on the calls before officially launching it. The rest was just a question/answer period.
Also thanks for the overwhelming response to the scheduling your time email from last week. I received many emails and a comment on the blog from you. Please feel free to add more comments on blog. I really suggest sitting down and starting to "plan your attack" so to speak and then track your progress. I think you'll see it really does help!
Someone once told me "two things you give up in the beginning - time and money - are two things you get back ten-fold when your business succeeds".
Since that went over so well, I figured I'd add another thought, I read this online earlier today actually.
The 4 SW Rule
Some Will
Some people will join your business with out much convincing from you or your up-line. They will see the opportunity and what it could mean for them, their friends and family. They will see that everything is above board and that you represent an honest, sound and ethical company. They are excited, pumped and can't wait to get started!
Some Won't
Some people will not join you and there can be a ton of reasons (excuses) why they won't. People say they don't have the time, the money, not interested, won't work for them, start talking that "pyramid scheme" stuff, not ready to make a decision on anything or don't think it is feasible. Some reasons are real but most of the time there are other underlying reasons. They may think you aren't the leader they want to work with or don't want to hurt your feelings.
So What
Remember that not everyone will be cut out for what you do. MLM/Network Marketing will be a daunting business for a lot of people and it takes a certain type of individual, a true entrepreneur, and some will never be able to do MLM. Don't get discouraged when someone tells you no and don't let their negativity get in the way of your drive and determination to succeed...just move on.
Someone's Waiting
Just around the corner someone is waiting for a person like you to help them achieve their dreams and goals. So what if you go through a bunch of no's before you get that yes? Someone said they go out every day looking for a no because that means they are just that much closer to a yes. There are literally thousands of people in this world looking for YOU and what you have to offer them. Never quit and never give up because you are very, very close to huge success and you deserve it!

101 Surefire ways to Attract Targeted and Endless Prospects!
Today, I'm going to share with you the most effective attraction marketing strategies that you can implement in your business to create massive success in 2011 and beyond. Let's get started, shall we?
#1. Make a decision to become a successful leader: The success of your business starts with your decision that you are successful and you are the leader people are looking for.

#88. Share the bad stuff: Huh? While everyone is sharing good things about products, systems and companies, share the bad side of things. Warn people not to waste their money on certain products and systems and back up your claims. Remember, people want honesty.

You'll get inspired to achieve your goals and learn the strategies that they use to attract people to their businesses.
#97. Do surveys: Ask people to give you feedback on the service and value that you provide in order to help you serve them better.
#98. Think outside the box: Use creative ways to attract prospects to you. Do whatever is necessary to attract people, even it means doing extra 5% that no one else is doing. Come up with something that only you can offer.
#99. Don't eat the whole elephant at one go: Cut it into bite-sized pieces ank keeping eating! I know you can't wait to create massive success in your business, by implementing all these strategies. The key is to take one step at a time, until you get there - you will get there! Be laser-focused and take an all-out massive action.
#100. Stay the course, they will come! The only one definite way you are going to fail to attract targeted and endless prospects to you is if you quit. Keep going!

Just another snowy Friday in NJ
Hi all!
For all you members who are not in the northeast, be happy! We've been on a horrible pattern of snow Tues and snow Friday/Sat. And today was no different! I'm very jealous of the members from Florida right now! :)
First up....were you able to make the conference call Wednesday? If not, it will be posted on the team site. I am making a new page for all the audio recordings this weekend. So come and check it out! Anyway if you didn't get a chance to hear it live, you should check it out. Mike posts an interesting question....would you keep yourself on as a worker? It's all about accountability. He suggested making a journal and actually writing down what you did and what your results were. Seeing it will make a difference he said. I agree...many of you know I have a schedule I keep to and I print it out every Monday and check off as I go. Somethings I do daily such as post at Backpage. Mon and Thurs nights are followup by phone to prospects who left their info in my capture page. Wed and Fri email the teammates. These are just a few examples. And yes I do too have lazy days...but I know if I take a break today, I'll be working harder tomorrow! :) Just some thoughts to think about. And I suggest listening next Wed...Mike didn't actually say what the topic will be, but he mentioned an accountability group and success! I like that word success!!!
Second up...keep your eye out for an email from aweber. I am going to start emailing you guys from my aweber site, but first you will need to sign up. I'm doing this for a couple reasons...first I can make a group listing and it makes it easier to just click on the group to email, and second you can op-out at any time. I will probably send that out this weekend too.
Third...now that Mike's "personal obstacles" session is over I will be adding the FAQ site to the page probably early next week. And I am going to visually change the site...and lose that purple monster look! :)
Finally...our winner IS C6889. Way to go! Let me know how you want the bonus divided!

Conference Calls tonight!
Hi all!
I hope everyone is having a fantastic Wednesday!
Quick reminder, Lotto Magic conference calls tonight. Training is at 8 PM Eastern - get your prospects in on it! Have Mike sell the business, not you. Opportunity call is at 9 PM Eastern - this is a continuation of last week "what are the personal obstacles that keep you from succeeding?" Last week Mike had some great responses to people's struggles. I have typed them up and after tonight's call I will be adding them all to the FAQ page for the team site.
The phone numbers are the same: 818-742-0029, pin code 406159#. Plus if you are a member of Facebook, Mike will be updating and adding the website this afternoon.
Here's a piece of advice I just heard: "If a program does not bring in money, then it cannot pay out money. If you are not the person paying into a program, then ask yourself "where is the money coming from" and then find out the specific reasons that people are investing in the program. If all you find are promises, then the program is just another piece of junk."
This is so true! And so true for Lotto Magic! Where does the commission money come from? Monthly membership fees. Where does the winning money come from? The Fl LOTTO and Powerball lottery tickets. Easy! Simple! It works!

TGIF from Team Lotto Magic!
Hi all!
I hope everyone had a wonderful week and the storms this week in south and northeast weren't too bad for you!
I also hope everyone either phoned into the conference call Wed or took the time to listen to the recording from the Team site news section. Mike made some wonderful points! What obstacles do we face? I'm so impressed, I'm actually going to go back and re-listen and add all the questions and concerns to our FAQ page! Next Wed will be the continuation. Plus I got a shout out! A member recently asked me for further explanation from a section of the Green Training book, I searched and searched in the backoffice and couldn't find it. Turns out it's not posted. So Mike understood that us as veterans still need to be able to see what the new members are seeing in order to help them. He said it should be available next week.
I'm also thinking about visually changing the site. Since the corporate site is all revamped, it doesn't go with my color scheme anymore. Kinda looks like I'm obsessed with purple! :) LOL!
The winner this week is S1573. Congrats! Please let me know what to do with your bonus hits!

Happy Wednesday!

I hope everyone in the south is doing well after your storms. Here in NJ we had about 7 inches of snow and the northeast is expected more. Hopefully you at least got a day off from "work"!

Mike will also post on facebook the website to listen online if you are interested. I will record the training and post it on the site. Call Recorded and Winner
Hi all!
Happy Friday! Here in NJ we got snow! This is the kind of snow I like...1-3 inches only and no where to go! Unlike our 23 inches we had last time.
I recorded the training conference call from Wed Jan 5th. Mike Caruana gave a wonderful overview of the advertising techniques: warm contact, telephone prospecting and direct mail. You can listen to it at http://www.teamlottomagic.com/News.php.
I did a little math, if you signup just 3 members every month and each member does just the same. You'll be making $6,984 (if all Team Captains) or $13,968 (if all Power Captains) monthly after 1 year! I'm going to attach this to the website to show everyone how quickly your checks will grow!
Our winner this week is R9186. Way to go!
I also talked to Mike, he said he is working on posting the Green Training Book in the backoffice. New members have received them in their welcome packet. But members who have been in for a while do not have it. So he's going to post it.
Anyway...I think that is it!
