48% of sales people never follow up with a prospect
25% of sales people make a second contact and stop
12% of sales people only make three contacts and stop

Big News! The website will be changing! I am revamping the website. I need your help...what do you want added to the site? Let me know what do you want to see. Also what are the questions you always receive, I'm going to expand the FAQ section.

Big Big News! I already made some changes to the rotator...we no longer will have the competition. Everyone will have equal chance of getting that signup! Just send 2,000 hits to your tracking URL and post 20 other ads to the www.TeamLottoMagic.com site. Do both of those and you'll stay on the rotator! And you know all those others hits you've been sending to the site....keep them for your own website! :) This is a trial, if it goes over well, I am going to open it up to all my downline again in about a month.

Lotto Magic Training call, video, and gurus

It's June already!

I can't believe it's June already. In the beginning of the year, I mentioned setting goals for 3 months, 6 months, the next year. That 6 months is coming up soon!

As I said last week, I was trying to add payment by PayPal to our site. Well that is a "no-go" for the time being. PayPal have frozen my account. Here's what happened: I designed invoices. I specifically wrote TLM instead of Team Lotto Magic as the company because I know PayPal is VERY strict about gambling. But I forgot about my email...rsmith@teamLOTTOmagic.com. And they caught me. I'm working on getting it restored. So far I'm on their review period. So sorry! Someone mentioned using AlertPay before. I am still researching them. I wanted PayPal because it was so well known.

Second, the video is almost finished!

Third, Lotto Magic has published June's newsletter. You should also see your May statement too!

Pirates 4 and the weekend! Happy Friday

Hi all!

It's Friday! Weekend is only a few short hours away....and for me Pirates 4 is only a few short hours away! :)

Please remember Mike is giving away FREE leads for listening to the conference call on Wed May 25th to make up for the technical difficulties on the 18th. I was one of the few who did get the free leads because I listen online. And I forced myself to make my 25 calls yesterday. Here's my results:
9 Voicemails- left message directing them to phone number or website
2 No answers
1 Person not there - left message but who knows!
13 Spoke with people

10 were directed to the lottopaysme website
3 were directed to the phone number
Schedule followup calls for Monday (because of the weekend) but did tell them to call or email me if they had questions.

1 signed up as Power Captain already after visiting site!

So it took me what an hr and I got 1 Power Captain! Not bad!!! And please remember, I hate the phone! I dreaded doing it, but I did. So you can too! It really is a cheap quick way to build a downline...especially with these free leads. I'll keep you posted!

I hope everyone is having a nice week. Getting closer and closer to that weekend! Some of you know, I've been looking forward to this weekend for months - it's Pirates 4! I got my tickets all set for Saturday! Dinner and a movie with the hubby!

Anyway...remember tonight is an important call. Many of you know I hate the phone...still after all this time dread it! But it is the cheapest and fastest way of building your business. So if I can do it...you can too! I'm going to transcribe the "script" if Mike gives it too!

A Call You Don't Want To Miss!

Tomorrow night (Wed, May 17 9PM EST) we will be revisiting the discussion on telephone prospecting.

Through the past five decades, marketing opportunities have come and gone and changed drastically, but three fundamental prospecting techniques have changed little and withstood the test of time. They are:

1) Direct Mail

2) Face-to-Face or Opportunity Meetings

3) Telephone Prospecting

For us, #1 on the list has always been the most effective, but it is the slowest and most expensive.

While #2 on the list is the cheapest way to build your business, it also takes the most time and work. and also has the biggest drawback: You will be limited in the number of people you can contact.

Telephone prospecting is the quickest. You can pick up the phone, qualify a prospect, direct them to a presentation, and if they are hot, they can join 15 minutes later! Most likely, you will need to follow-up with them after they have watched the video online, but still, for the cost of leads and long distance (which by now most people have flat-rate, unlimited) you can put tons of prospects in your pipeline VERY QUICKLY!

We have visited this topic a few times over the last three years, but were missing one key ingredient: Effective Leads.

Just like it took awhile (and testing hundreds of sources) to tweak our direct mail co-ops to where they are now, we have done the same with finding and testing sources for telephone prospecting and have finally found a few that are worthy.

For the FINAL time, this week, we will be giving away leads to those of you interested in learning how to build your business with the telephone and want to get started immediately. After tonight, proven sources will be available to all members at various prices, depending on how fresh the leads are (for example, the leads we are giving away this week will sell for .75 each). Quantity given to each member will be determined by call volume.

To receive FREE LEADS and be in my core group of people who get to test leads for free in the future from new sources, you must meet the following requirements:

1) BE ON THE CALL THIS WEEK -- NO EXCEPTIONS!

2) Be willing to share your results, either privately with me or on a subsequent call.

3) Be willing to use the techniques you learn within 48 hours. Your leads will be placed in your back office, into a contact management system we have developed for this purpose. This will let you flag prospects interest levels, add notes, and even follow-up appointment reminders. Details will be unveiled on the call.

4) Have Internet Access and be able to log into your backoffice either during the call or within 15 minutes after it ends.

Ok, the URLs are working again. I have no clue what happened. After a call to godaddy.com they told me we weren't alone in our issues and they were working on it. But either way it is fixed! YAY. Reduce the Struggle and Help our Downline Win!

Here's something I found:
So to help reduce that amount of struggle and pain for new people in your downline I have the following steps:
1 - Take the time to welcome new people to your organization, its key because they need the personal touch especially at first
2 - Have a clearly defined, step-by-step process to get up and running (don't be tempted to vomit) this is also what happens right after someone joins. They aren't ready to have all the details.
3 - Hook them up with key leaders and training. A system is key here, even when you are not available they can get help
4 - Be available, at first they need a little help. Don't assume they will get it just because you did. They may not be at your level of expertise or belief yet.
5 - Have others on hand that they can go to if you are not there.
6 - Stay in good communication, via e-mail, make sure they know when things are, they are not used to being set up with a schedule.
7 - Be patient, remember at one time or another, you were a "newbie" too.
8 - Take action yourself, they will only be about 50% of what you are doing, if your action is low, then theirs is even lower.

Good morning!
I hope all is well in your area! As always NJ gets a nice day today, but rain tomorrow :( Oh well more Lotto Magic time! :)

Piece of advice...check your lottery numbers carefully! Wednesday I thought we had won big! Not Jackpot - but still big! The winning Powerball numbers were 4-23-39-49-50 Powerball 39. Jimmy a Captain in the downline, has the numbers 4-23-39-49-55-38. As many of you know I keep an Excel spreadsheet of all the numbers and each drawing and perform conditional formatting to see the matching numbers. Apparently I had mistyped and entered Jimmy's Powerball as 39. So he "matched 4 numbers plus the Powerball for $10,000! I got excited and emailed Jimmy's Captain Jules who informed me of my mistake! Whoops!!! Hey we still matched 4 numbers for $100! Good for you Jimmy!

I'm begging you! Why lose people who are interested! By the way I sent all 3 to the team site - and 1 joined last night! :) See it works!

Snickers bar craving!

Who would have thought a Snickers bar could be worth so much? Did you read the article about the MegaMillions winners. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110331/ap_on_re_us/us_mega_millions_winner. This is why pooling works! I sent a broadcast to the prospects yesterday about this. Pooling works! We need more to realize that!

First of all, I'm not exactly sure if I broadcasted this out or not. Please remember to use the www in the www.lottomagiconline.com site. If not if a person goes to the Join button, they are brought to a site that does not include a sponsor, and they have to manually type the sponsor ID in which many won't do. I had a couple of complaints from people who are using the new Firefox.

I am going to be posting the buying US traffic sites on the team site. I had some of you tell me good and bad things about the ones listed, I'm only going to place the good ones online.

TGIF!

First and foremost, my thoughts and prayers are with the people hit today by first the earthquake then later the tsunami waves. It is so sad to watch on TV. And yesterday NJ was worried about our small flooding...it doesn't even compare to that devastation. I know we do have a couple members from Hawaii reading this, I hope everything is well with you. And as I write this now, the west coast hasn't been hit yet...hopefully that remains.

I just read today: "Those who respond positively and take responsibility, rather than blame others or be indifferent, are the ones who grow as leaders. Consequently, they develop the foundation for great positive responses, great achievement, and great success in leadership."

Week of Knowledge for us at Team Lotto Magic

Hi all!

What a week? I feel like I'm back in college with all these classes of wonderful knowledge! I think I may have learned more this week about marketing than I have in months put together! I hope you got a chance to attend Tim Sales presentation on Wednesday. If not you can listen to it at http://responsivedata.com/view-media/speaker-series (the first one with Tim Sales, I haven't listened to the rest so I can't recommend them or not). I'm also working on an overview of it myself. There are some good "key phrases" to use when talking. I want to get them down!

As for the other Wednesday presentation, hot buttons! It sounds like emotions play a big key part in it. Both Mike and Tim talked about it. People don't just join a home based business to make money. They join it because they are in debt, they got laid off, or health issues. And they both stressed...being genuine about these emotions!In case you missed Mike's talk, it's in the team site.

Oh my! All of us in the east coast are having a beautiful day! We are supposed to hit 70! I'm actually going for a road trip to the beach for the afternoon right after I finish this email. So lets get it done...

Hot buttons to press for prospects

Hi all!
I hope everyone is excited for the weekend...it's Super Bowl Weekend! :) As someone who is a huge football fan...this weekend is very hard for me LOL! But at least spring training for baseball is right around the corner!

I found this info online and it really made sense to me:
#1 People are interested in themselves:

When you connect with your prospects, it's not about you but it's about them. Let them talk about themselves. You need to make them feel important and try to establish what makes them unhappy and dissatisfied.
A great rapport building approach that you can use is called F.O.R.M. (Family, Occupation, Recreation, Message). Ask them if they are married, have kids, what they do for a living and what they enjoy doing in their spare time. The next thing you would then do, is to tell them why you called them in the first place (deliver your message). You could say: "I note that you visited my website recently and you have shown that you're interested in starting your own home business..." or something along these lines.

#2 People have a craving to feel important:

Make them feel important. Be nice, compliment them, listen and acknowledge their responses. Smile - people can still detect and appreciate your smile even if you're miles away, on the other end of the line.

Use their first name frequently - people love it when you address them by their first names, I do! :)

It's important to use this trick in your follow-up messages as well, in moderation though. You can also use their first name when you give a call-to-action. It makes it personal and it's likely to get them to act.

For example: "This incredible offer is only good for the next 24 hours for fast action-takers. Don't miss out, {firstname}!"
#3 People are sceptical when you say something in your favor:

It's important to use testimonials - third party validation builds credibility, takes away scepticism and gets people to trust you more. People have been pitched at too many times and it does take time to develop trust these days.

You need to present the unquestionable proof from your existing customers and team members. Testimonials can be used to show people your leadership skills — how you have helped others to overcome their problems or to achieve their goals.

#4 People want easy life:

People want easy gain, something for nothing. People want things fast and free. You need to make people aware that the value is far greater than the cost. Here are the two most powerful words that you can use with success in your business: FREE and YOU.

People do take action when you offer something for free and when it's benefit-driven. What's in it for them? Make sure your free product (ebook, video series, report etc.) overdelivers so that your prospects can buy from you in the future.

#5 People want to feel like they have a sense of belonging:

People want to be associated with others as social beings. That is why it's important to have teams, team meetings, live marketing events and workshops so that people can feel connected.

As a leader you have to go an extra mile and do things like weekly private team training. This will create a sense of community and great team environment, strengthen your relationship with your team and you will start feeling like you have known each other for a long time.

You also need to hold regular webinars to connect with your leads to show them how you can help them achieve their goals - show them the kind of support you give to your team and make it clear that they will not be on their own should they decide to join you.

#6 People are emotional creatures:

People are more emotional than logical, they buy on emotions. They make decisions on emotions and justify with logic. So, take advantage of that and hit people with emotions. Try to paint a picture of what their life would be like if they build a successful business with your help.
Show them what your product would do to their bottom line and growth of their organisation. This ties into the next point:
#7 People seek to gain pleasure and avoid pain:

No one wants pain, people would do anything to avoid it and gain pleasure. So, make people feel it, taste it and fear it. If you make them feel the pain with your content or ad copy and then offer to help them heal it and feel good about themselves, then you’ll get crazy clicks, endless leads and unbelievable conversions.
No one wants pain, remember? It’s very important to learn and master copywriting if you want people to do exactly what you want them to do. You need to turn your visitors and prospects into desperate buyers!

Team Lotto Magic and the 4 SWs

Hi all,
It's Friday! Welcome to the weekend! And since I'm writing you again...it's started snowing again in NJ! :) I'm really starting to see a pattern! Hopefully, it's nicer where you are!

I posted the recording of Wednesday's training call on the team site conference call page. Since Mike said only 8 people were on the call, I know some of you will be checking it out. He talked about the Accountability Club and the success you'll have from it. He said we should start it informally. And he'd wait until more people are on the calls before officially launching it. The rest was just a question/answer period.

Also thanks for the overwhelming response to the scheduling your time email from last week. I received many emails and a comment on the blog from you. Please feel free to add more comments on blog. I really suggest sitting down and starting to "plan your attack" so to speak and then track your progress. I think you'll see it really does help!

Someone once told me "two things you give up in the beginning - time and money - are two things you get back ten-fold when your business succeeds".

Since that went over so well, I figured I'd add another thought, I read this online earlier today actually.

The 4 SW Rule

Some Will
Some people will join your business with out much convincing from you or your up-line. They will see the opportunity and what it could mean for them, their friends and family. They will see that everything is above board and that you represent an honest, sound and ethical company. They are excited, pumped and can't wait to get started!

Some Won't
Some people will not join you and there can be a ton of reasons (excuses) why they won't. People say they don't have the time, the money, not interested, won't work for them, start talking that "pyramid scheme" stuff, not ready to make a decision on anything or don't think it is feasible. Some reasons are real but most of the time there are other underlying reasons. They may think you aren't the leader they want to work with or don't want to hurt your feelings.

So What
Remember that not everyone will be cut out for what you do. MLM/Network Marketing will be a daunting business for a lot of people and it takes a certain type of individual, a true entrepreneur, and some will never be able to do MLM. Don't get discouraged when someone tells you no and don't let their negativity get in the way of your drive and determination to succeed...just move on.

Someone's Waiting
Just around the corner someone is waiting for a person like you to help them achieve their dreams and goals. So what if you go through a bunch of no's before you get that yes? Someone said they go out every day looking for a no because that means they are just that much closer to a yes. There are literally thousands of people in this world looking for YOU and what you have to offer them. Never quit and never give up because you are very, very close to huge success and you deserve it!

By automating and outsourcing some of the tasks, you can spend your time on the things that will move your business in the right direction.

#78. Know your competition: How can you crush your competition if you don't who your competitors are and what they are doing? Visit their websites, read their newsletters and even buy their products. Do everything better than they do if you want to get noticed and have people choose to follow you over your competitors.

#79. Network: You are in a network marketing business. Stop hiding behind your computer, get out there andattract prospects image start networking with people. Make connections with people online, and then go and meet them in person in the real world, offline, where possible.

#80. Public speaking: Start doing your own live internet marketing presentations in your area and anywhere else. More and more people are interested to learn about internet marketing. Always invite people to visit your blog and/or your landing page to learn more and give out business cards. You can put the money you make from these seminars towards funding your direct response advertising.

#81. Work your list: Take advantage of email marketing and keep sharing valuable content, tips and resources with your subscribers. This is a great way to build relationships and trust which can lead to more customers and more money in your pocket.

#82. Offer discounts and/or free bonuses: They are a great way to prompt your prospects to take action. The key is to offer freebies that contain valuable information and tips. You can also offer discounts on your products and/or sign-up fee.

#83. Company training: If your company is doing free training for anyone interested, then invite your prospects to attend so they can have a peek behind your company's curtain and get a bigger picture. Always share the recordings with them if available.

#84. Have integrity: Build an undeniable reputation of integrity and you will not struggle to attract people to you. People are looking to follow those who are completely honest and not fake.

#85. Do joint ventures: Find people who have your audience already and co-create products with them. Look for people in your target market who have larger lists than yours.

#86. Comment on other blogs: Blog commenting in your niche is a great way to get your name, blog and business out there and attract people to you.

#87. Improve your sites: Make sure that your sites are welcoming with uncluttered designs, everything is user-friendly and works well. Be sure to use a clear, concise and compelling call-to-action.

#88. Share the bad stuff: Huh? While everyone is sharing good things about products, systems and companies, share the bad side of things. Warn people not to waste their money on certain products and systems and back up your claims. Remember, people want honesty.

#89. Use catchy headlines: For every piece of content that you put online, use magnetic, sizzling and benefit-driven headlines to entice people to read your content and do what you want them to do. Learn and master copywriting.

#90. Do newsletters: Start doing weekly or monthly newsletters sharing the latest marketing updates and strategies to keep your prospects well-informed.

#91. Join social community sites: They are HOT right now and are great for networking and for posting content that will be shared and promoted across the web and generate you traffic. Get active and get noticed!

#92. Take the media route: Start a special show, a podcast or online magazine and be seen as the expert.

#93. Create your own system: You can create your own system or programme based on your experience,cheese-mouse-image what has worked for you so that you can help others achieve the same results as yours. People will get attracted to you as they want exactly what you have.

#94. Offer options: Make sure that there is something for everyone and offer different options to choose from. Not too many though as no choice would be made. They can be packaged in terms of pricing, features and so on. You'd be giving people some flexibility.

#95. Provide ongoing product offers: It's much easier to retain the customers that you already have than to keep attracting new ones all the time. So, in order to have repeat customers effortlessly, you need to use a business model that encourages ongoing purchases. And if you have your own system or programme, you can collect monthly fees.

#96. Mastermind with like-minded individuals: Hang out with people who share the same interests and aspirations as you, who have what you want or who are travelling on the same path as you. You'll get inspired to achieve your goals and learn the strategies that they use to attract people to their businesses.

#97. Do surveys: Ask people to give you feedback on the service and value that you provide in order to help you serve them better.

#98. Think outside the box: Use creative ways to attract prospects to you. Do whatever is necessary to attract people, even it means doing extra 5% that no one else is doing. Come up with something that only you can offer.

#99. Don't eat the whole elephant at one go: Cut it into bite-sized pieces ank keeping eating! I know you can't wait to create massive success in your business, by implementing all these strategies. The key is to take one step at a time, until you get there - you will get there! Be laser-focused and take an all-out massive action.

#100. Stay the course, they will come! The only one definite way you are going to fail to attract targeted and endless prospects to you is if you quit. Keep going!

Just another snowy Friday in NJ

Hi all!
For all you members who are not in the northeast, be happy! We've been on a horrible pattern of snow Tues and snow Friday/Sat. And today was no different! I'm very jealous of the members from Florida right now! :)

First up....were you able to make the conference call Wednesday? If not, it will be posted on the team site. I am making a new page for all the audio recordings this weekend. So come and check it out! Anyway if you didn't get a chance to hear it live, you should check it out. Mike posts an interesting question....would you keep yourself on as a worker? It's all about accountability. He suggested making a journal and actually writing down what you did and what your results were. Seeing it will make a difference he said. I agree...many of you know I have a schedule I keep to and I print it out every Monday and check off as I go. Somethings I do daily such as post at Backpage. Mon and Thurs nights are followup by phone to prospects who left their info in my capture page. Wed and Fri email the teammates. These are just a few examples. And yes I do too have lazy days...but I know if I take a break today, I'll be working harder tomorrow! :) Just some thoughts to think about. And I suggest listening next Wed...Mike didn't actually say what the topic will be, but he mentioned an accountability group and success! I like that word success!!!

Second up...keep your eye out for an email from aweber. I am going to start emailing you guys from my aweber site, but first you will need to sign up. I'm doing this for a couple reasons...first I can make a group listing and it makes it easier to just click on the group to email, and second you can op-out at any time. I will probably send that out this weekend too.

Third...now that Mike's "personal obstacles" session is over I will be adding the FAQ site to the page probably early next week. And I am going to visually change the site...and lose that purple monster look! :)

Hi all!
I hope everyone had a wonderful week and the storms this week in south and northeast weren't too bad for you!

I also hope everyone either phoned into the conference call Wed or took the time to listen to the recording from the Team site news section. Mike made some wonderful points! What obstacles do we face? I'm so impressed, I'm actually going to go back and re-listen and add all the questions and concerns to our FAQ page! Next Wed will be the continuation. Plus I got a shout out! A member recently asked me for further explanation from a section of the Green Training book, I searched and searched in the backoffice and couldn't find it. Turns out it's not posted. So Mike understood that us as veterans still need to be able to see what the new members are seeing in order to help them. He said it should be available next week.

I'm also thinking about visually changing the site. Since the corporate site is all revamped, it doesn't go with my color scheme anymore. Kinda looks like I'm obsessed with purple! :) LOL!

Happy Friday! Here in NJ we got snow! This is the kind of snow I like...1-3 inches only and no where to go! Unlike our 23 inches we had last time.

Hi all!
How's everyone doing today? I'm covered in flour at the moment. Today is annual Christmas cookie baking day at my house! :) So let's make this quick so I can get back to it!

The recorded call is posted at www.teamlottomagic.com in the news section. It's unedited, I'm sorry, but it isn't very long. As in the newsletter, Mike just did an overview of topics for 2011. One topic that I'm very interested in that he mentioned recruiting people who are already working on commissions such as sales people, Realtors, people who already know how to build a business and what it takes.

The recording wasn't difficult. So I should be able to record all calls. I was thinking about creating a site that is password protected to place the recordings. This way they have to be a member of Team Lotto Magic to hear them.

The URL trackers are working nicely! Thank you for the hits. I know with the holidays it's difficult, but please try to do some advertising. At least get things in place for 2011. TGIF It's Friday! Enjoy the weekend!

First up, the new URL tracker is up and working. Those of you who had emailed me that you were still interested should have received your new URL. If you haven't responded yet and are interested in being part of the Team rotator, let me know.

Second, the corporate office placed the Nov and Dec newsletters in the backoffice. I uploaded them to the team site. Dec newsletter says there will be new changes for 2011. Wed Dec 15th conference call will be an important one, it will be an overview of the training schedule for beginning of 2011! They also are starting a "Power Recruiting Club". I'm sure they will have more details in the conference calls. That's what we want to be a part of Power Recruiting!!! So please try to make the call.

Third, I am revamping the team site again! Thank you for your ideas. Please keep 'em coming! One thing I was thinking about adding is recording these conference calls and allowing Team members to listen to them. What do you think?

Finally, with the URL up and working again. I will leave the rotator how it is for today. Starting next Friday Dec 17th, the usual 2000 hits requirement will go back into play.

Happy Friday! 6 days till Thanksgiving! We have a lot to be thankful here at Lotto Magic. I hope everyone sees how lucky we are to have found that needle in the haystack with REAL work from home companies! I was thinking the other day, so many of you have told me your horror stories of scams you've been through. We are lucky! Lotto Magic started in 1996 and has paid consistently ever since.

How are you doing? I hope everyone had a wonderful week!

Please answer your phones or return prospect's voicemails. I say this because I received a phone call from someone who waited a week, calling multiple times, leaving multiple voicemails, and never heard back from someone. He received a flyer in the mailbox, hand-delivered and just wanted more information. After he didn't hear back from them, he started searching and found our Team site. I mentioned this to another Captain, and he said he had the same thing, someone saw a flyer at college and again never heard back from that person. So that is some major insight to us...flyers work, and return calls.

Hi all!
Did anyone? I mean I know I was looking forward to tonight all week, I got tickets to the Phillies game! But this week just kept dragging on and on. Finally the weekend is almost here! Only a couple more hours! Anyway, I'm ranting, I'm sure some of you know by now I'm a huge football and baseball fan! Sept and Oct are always my favorite months! Anyway, on to business...

First, I checked in the backoffice, they put up the newsletter and statements. The recent newsletters talk about the new revamped postcards and how well the signups have been at Lotto Magic! I know we had something to do with that! Great job team!!!

Second, the LONGGGGGGGGG awaited Team Lotto Magic message board is up. Check it out at http://teamlottomagic.aimoo.com/. Please make comments ask questions. I started a couple of messages to help get things started. If you have any problems, please let me know, but remember I'm learning about that site just like you are. So I apologize in advance!

Third, a couple of you had asked for info about Google Adwords. I've learned they do not allow gambling sites, so no words like "lottery". I focused on the work from home, home business idea. Of course those keywords are expensive...I allowed Google to "bet" for me, because I wasn't getting anywhere on my own. It turned out each click cost me $3.08. Which I think is high...but I did figure out everyone who "clicked" also left their info on the capture page. And I had 1 Captain sign up immediately and 2 have been emailing with some interest. So I think about it this way...first it was a free $100 from VistaPrint. But even if I spent $100, 1 Power Captain is $50 back already, so within just 2 months I've received back my investment. It's up to you.

Fourth, our winner this week was K0658. As usual, let me know what to do with those bonus signups!

How is everyone doing this fine Tuesday?!

First of all, the results from the Google Adwords "experiment"...after spending time finally getting the ad approved and posted for viewing...the results are really promising! Here's the story: I found out Google Adwords will not allow gambling sites, so my ad mentioned the word "lottery". Once I removed the word "lottery" and replaced it with "winning" we were golden! So far today I've received 3 clicks and all 3 left their capture info! Nice! Now if those 3 will join (even if 1 of them would join) that would be so worth it!

Second of all, the forum is almost finished. I'm adding some more things today and will get it out to you guys by Friday! Promise!!!

Happy October! I cannot believe it is already October. 2010 is 3/4ths of the way done. Have you achieved your goals in 2010? Just somethings to think about it.

Onto the news this week:

First of all, WOW! You guys have been working hard the past couple days getting those "slow-pokes" into Lotto Magic. We really had a big push this last week! As far as I could tell (from people emailing me and such) we had 12 people join in just the last week! Way to go!

Second of all, have you guys tried www.vistaprint.com? I use them all the time for my business cards. But Wednesday I got a letter mailed from them with $100 free Google Adwords credit. So I set up an account and I'm going to try it out. I've never tried Adwords before! I'll let you know my results! I'm still waiting for approval at the moment. But thanks again Vista Print!

Third, I've been working on a Team Lotto Magic forum. I know you've probably heard me talking about this for months. Originally I wanted to put it right on the www.TeamLottoMagic.com site, but I admit I guess I'm not as good web programmer as I thought because I can't get it working. So instead I'm using Aimoo. It's almost done. Hopefully Tuesday's email will include a link for you guys to check it out!

For those Traffic Exchange Newbies

Im constantly seeing people boast in the forum about how many traffic exchanges they are surfing at the same time. Thats all wrong. You are better surfing less traffic exchanges and building up more credits on a handful rather that surfing 20 or 30 or more.

If you ever read the e-mails you get from the TEs, most will give you bonus credits for surfing a certain amount. The less tabs you have open the faster you can surf. You get into a rhythm and know whats coming next and more importantly where the bonus credits are. Collecting all the bonus credits that are on offer is the best way to go. With a lot of TEs collecting all the bonus credits will turn a 2:1 into a 1:1 or better.

Also make sure you collect your credits - if you have to send in a support ticket to get them then make sure you do. Also in a lot of e-mails you will get a link giving you free credits - click it.

Get to know your TEs. If you dont know them you cant get the most out of them.

You dont need to pay to upgrade in the TEs either. Go for the free upgrades such as the hitsafari/realhitz4u/soaring4traffic combo. just sign up to their Power Surf Central tab. Or hittoad - just collect the toad points and convert them to an upgrade.

Look for the TEs offering the best bonuses such as FirstStrikeTraffic or MyTrafficZone - both offering 400 bonus credits for surfing 500 pages. better than any 1:1 500 pages sound too much? Well its not really - they are 6 second timers so just find another four 6 second sites and you can be done in about an hour and a half with over 2000 credits.

There are loads more good sites out there - just find them and get to know them.

My HP laptop started smoking last week, I've ordered a new Mac, I'm waiting for delivery from China. So in the mean time, I'm still trying to work. Read this...

I just finished listening to a 6-cd training course from a successful May Kay distributor. The five steps involved in signing up a new distributor with this type of network marketing is very complex. It involves a series of steps of qualifying prospects through one-on-one presentations, 3-way phone calls, home meetings and hotel meetings.

Whew!
There was never a "close" attempted at any time during her 5-step process of recruiting. Only at the hotel meeting was the close attempted and the suggested close was to mention New Distributor Training to get them to sign up now.

"If we get your application submitted today, we can get your New Distributor Training started at our next training session on Saturday!"

Well, it all sounds good, however, I have learned several things after many years in network marketing:
1 - Less than 5% of network marketing distributors will ever present their company to anyone in person.
2 - Less than 20% will ever mention their opportunity to anyone over the phone.
3 - Nobody likes to invite people to meetings (especially when they do not show up).
4 - Not everyone is suitable to be a trainer, yet many companies stress this is the system to use.

So, that brings me to this question: Why do network-marketing companies always stress distributor training when company training would be better?

Why is it better? For one thing, a consistent presentation is always made. Maybe your sponsor is not really qualified to be a trainer. Even worst, maybe they change companies after 3 months and then you don't have a trainer at all!

With company training, you don't have to worry about this problem. After all, if the company stops training, there probably isn't a company any more, so you wouldn't need the training anyway! Plus, company training gives you the latest, up-to-date information every week.
